Introducing quranclub's "I aim to read one juz of Quran everyday" button

by Ikram Kurdi on Sunday, July 05, 2009
"People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing. That's why we recommend it daily." -Zig Ziglar.

We love reading the Quran! We read one part, or juz, of the 30 parts of the Quran everyday. We encourage you to join us. You can use these buttons to show your support. :)

If you don't know Arabic you can still read Quran in your own language.

It is not a problem if something urgent comes up and you miss one day. The important thing is to keep up doing it until it becomes a habit.

When you put the button on your page, please link it to this post.

So lovely!
I have a feeling a lot of the muslimeen will be adopting this button for their profiles/blogs during Ramadan, which might I mention, is less than two months away!

Takbir!

Great idea.. Mashallah. but what if i do read two juz everday .. ? No for serious . is a Question !!

That would be even better! Allah AW commands us to read as much as possible without letting it get in the way of our living (Quran, 73:20). For example a Muslim man shouldn't ignore his wife or his children and spend all his free time reading Quran. Islam is a religion of balance.

Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakath,

Jazakhallah khair for this great inspiration.

I was told that my grandmother used to read 1 juz a day and complete the Quran in a month's time, and I always wanted to do that, but I had been a slow reader.

Insha Allah, this will be my goal too. So I join you in this.

Wa alaikum as salaam wa rahmatullah,

I feel happy to have inspired you. JazakAllah for your effort, may Allah grant you success.

Salaam!

I absolutely love this idea. The ability for us to be motivated should come from within, but I know for bloggers, there's some incentive now. To uphold to their new awesome buttons!

Jazakallah Khair!
