"Wait a second there, Bin Muhammad! We aren't supposed to celebrate.." says a defensive reader after reading the title of this post. Well, Mr. Defensive Reader, you don't have to worry about me advertising non-Muslim celebrations, because that's not what I'm doing here. See, any reasonable person can take the good out of anything.
We as Muslims should take this opportunity to study World War One, find out what we did wrong, and be the ones to help avoid any future world crisis if it comes up. You don't have to celebrate Remembrance Day--but rather ponder upon it, and give it a moment or two, as it was a big moment in World History, and Muslim History.
